Inka -Chan

Inka-Chan is born out of passion and dream to bring Indonesian heritage to today's fashion. This is to shift one's mindset that Kain or Indonesian traditional fabrics are suitable only for formal occassions. Yet it also fits to everyday fashionable wear. The spirit of Inka-Chan is to preserve Indonesian culture and to spread the pride of being an Indonesian.

 

Every piece of Inka-Chan is originally designed and the fabrics are selectively picked to encompass a variety of hand made and printed fabrics from different parts of Indonesia:

- Ulos Batak

- Songket Bali

- Songket Padang

- Tenun Ikat Jepara

- Batik

 

Most of all Inka-Chan is here because of love. Love that comes from so many people who believe in me so much.

 

This is a dedication to my Amang and Inang who I love dearly, Hariyanto Hutauruk and Henny Moeljosoedjono br Tobing. Abundant thank you to my little brother Dwinaldo Harry Truman Hutauruk and my dearest friends and family.
